New Standard Telephony's leading product, EdgeOne, is currently near completion of the development cycle, and will be ready for commercialization in mid 2006. The EdgeOne platform is a software solution, embedded, within residential telephones, allowing them to work with both VoIP and PSTN services providers. The technology is designed to enhance and simplify subscriber migration to VoIP, benefiting phone manufacturers, telecom service providers and residential phone users.
The EdgeOne platform allows:
- Convergence of VoIP with existing PSTN networks, allowing integration and intelligent routing between multiple telephony networks
